Tenant Services Authority
Please choose a dataset for more detailed information:
The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) is the regulator for social housing in England. Their goal is to work with landlords and tenants to improve services for existing and prospective tenants. The TSA regulatory powers currently cover all registered social landlords. From April 2010 this has been extended to all registered housing providers.
The TSA has a number of datasets that would be useful for social housing research. CORE (The COntinuous REcording System) is an established system for the collection of data on social housing lettings and sales. Data collected includes household profile, income, rent, homelessness status, and property location.
The Regulatory Statistical Return (RSR) is an annual data collection made by all registered housing providers in England. It collects data on stock size, location and types, RSL characteristics, rents and activities over the previous year.
The National Register of Social Housing (NROSH) is a new system designed to collect information on the property characteristics of local authorities and registered social landlords housing stock. Over time CORE data will be able to be linked with NROSH data.
The ADLS will add new information to this section over time. Please keep checking back and you may also wish to receive notification of these updates by registering with us.
