Crime and Justice
There is a range of data that can potentially be used for crime related research. The majority of this data is held by the Home Office and much of it originates from the police service.
Other data relating to aspects of the criminal justice system such as probation, prison, court activity and anti social behaviour orders are held by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).
Data on incidents of fire comes from the Fire and Rescue Services and is held by Communities and Local Government. Where appropriate this data could be used to look at the number of fire crime related incidents.
